Georgia Bulldogs vs Kentucky Wildcats Prediction & Picks - NCAA

The Kentucky Wildcats will go for their first conference win of the season Saturday, October 4, when they take on the Georgia Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium in Athens, GA. Kickoff for this SEC battle is scheduled for 12 p.m. EST (game to be broadcast on ABC).

It has been an up-and-down year for the Wildcats so far as they are 2-2 with wins over Toledo (24-16) and Eastern Michigan (48-23). But conference losses followed each win. They dropped a game to Ole Miss following their win over Toledo, 30-23. After beating Eastern Michigan, they got pounded by South Carolina, 35-13. They’ve had more success running the ball (188 yards per game) than throwing it (159 ypg). Through four games, they are scoring one more point per game (27 points per game) than the defense is allowing (26 points per game).  As for the Bulldogs, they are coming off their first loss of the season, 24-21 against Alabama. The Tide jumped out to a 14-0 lead before cruising to a 24-21 victory over their SEC rival.

After going 4-8 last season, fans of the Wildcats were undoubtedly hoping to at least improve on last year’s dismal play. With one loss, Georgia is certainly not out of the running. However, they have their sights set on returning to the CFP.
