The most surprising result of Matchday 1 of the Champions League was undoubtedly achieved by the reigning four-time Azerbaijan Premier League champions, Qarabag, who defeated Benfica 3-2 in Lisbon, overcoming a 2-0 deficit in the 16th minute.
