The Kansas City Chiefs will try to extend their winning streak to four in a row when they head to the Empire State this week to face the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY. Kickoff for this AFC battle is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. EST, and the game will be broadcast on CBS.
This may be the most anticipated game of the regular season. For most of the season, it has appeared as though the Chiefs’ dominance may be coming to an end, following less-than-stellar performances in several games. In light of last season's offensive struggles, it did not look promising. But then they got Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice back, spurring a three-game winning streak. However, to be fair, the win over the Lions is the only respectable one; dominating the Raiders is not hard to do, and the Commanders were without Jayden Daniels. But if they were to beat the Bills…As for Buffalo, James Cook carried them to a win last week against the Panthers to end a two-game losing streak. The defense has struggled against the run, but they were able to keep Chuba Hubbard and Rico Dowdle from breaking out. Buffalo’s defense will have its work cut out for it against a resurgent Kansas City offense.

Fans are understandably excited about Xavier Worthy returning to the lineup a couple of weeks ago and Rashee Rice making his first start last week after serving a suspension, but the Chiefs will be without a key player in this game —running back Isiah Pacheco. The team's bread and butter is still the passing game, but the threat of a respectable rushing attack helps keep defenses honest and not going all out to rush Mahomes. Kareem Hunt will probably take over the lead back role.

This is a tough one. It is hard not to think that the Chiefs are back to their dominant ways, but I’m not ready to sign off on their return to dominance after three wins, with only one being against a good team. I’ve got a little more faith in Josh Allen and James Cook getting the job done at home than I do in the Chiefs' offense at the moment. As a home dog, I can’t pass the Bills up.

Allen and the Bills have no problem calling his number when the Buffalo offense gets within striking distance. He had two last week against the Panthers and has had one in each of his last four games vs. the Chiefs. KC does not have a great run defense, so there is a good chance the Bills try to take advantage of it. It's surprising to see this market at plus money odds, making it hard to pass this one up.
