Jack Draper of Great Britain will try to book his spot in the final of the 2025 Queen’s Club Championship against the dangerous Jiri Lehecka of the Czech Republic on Saturday.
Draper advanced to the semifinal with a valiant 6-4 5-7 6-4 win over Brandon Nakashima of the United States. Draper, the world’s No.6 men’s singles player, fired 14 aces and won 53 points of his first serves while winning the crucial points to outlast Nakashima in a back-and-forth duel. The Brit improved his grass-court record to 20-13.
Lehecka bagged his fifth grass-court win this year after trouncing Jacob Fearnley of the Great Britain in straight sets, 7-5 6-2. Hot off a win over Libema Open champion Gabriel Diallo 6-4 6-2, Lehecka broke twice to capture the opening set before putting on the finishing touches with two more service breaks in the second set.
