Eyeing a deep run in another grass-court tournament, Gabriel Diallo of Canada will go for a quarterfinal spot against Jiri Lehecka of the Czech Republic on Thursday at Queen’s Club Championships.
Diallo, fresh off a title at the 2025 Libema Open, has a chance to make it into the quarterfinals at Queen’s Club if he can overcome his second-round opponent on Thursday. Diallo captured his first ever ATP Main Tour title after edging Zizou Bergs of Belgium 7–5, 7–6(10–8) in an enthralling championship match at Rosmalen Grass Courts in the Netherlands. It was a back-and-forth match from start to finish, but the young Canadian showed a lot of heart, particularly in the key moments of the match.
Lehecka targets his second grass-court quarterfinal appearance after making it in the final eight at Stuttgart a week ago. The Czech scored a huge win on Tuesday, defeating former ATP top-10 Alex De Minaur 6-4, 6-4 in the first round. Lehecka conceded zero service breaks, firing 10 aces and winning 27 first-serve points.
