As is the case in the world of tennis, Sundayis a day for a final, and that's exactly what we've got. We've reached the final of WTA event in Iasi, Romania, where Jill Teichmann will take on Irina-Camelia Begu, who is playing in her home country. Not for the first time at this tournamet, the Austrian comes up against a Romanian player. She paved her way to the final by beating Sorana Cirstea in the semis, beating a Romanian for the second time in the last week. Can she make it three from three? Trying to stop her is a player who has won five WTA tournaments, winning two of those titles on home soil, so she's clearly a player to fear in this part of the world. For Teichmann, this is a fifth WTA final, but it will be her first final since 2021. Having won two of her previous four, she goes in search of a third title, and you know what, off the back of that excellent semi-final effort, I wouldn't bet against her getting what she wants.
