Iga Swiatek of Poland will lock horns with Jessica Pegula of the United States in the final of the 2025 Bad Homburg Open on Saturday.

Swiatek made it to her first championship match in 2025 after posting a surgical win over Jasmine Paolini of Italy 6-1 6-3 in Friday’s semifinal. The 5-time Grand Slam winner delivered her best performance on grass this week, as she absolutely outclassed the No.2 seed Paolini from start to finish. For the first time in the tournament, Swiatek landed more than 70 percent of her first serves at 76 percent, winning 26 points. The Pole also broke Paolini five times and only allowed one service break the entire match.

Pegula will be making her fifth final appearance this year and first since winning the Charleston Open in March. Pegula bested Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic in another three-set slugfest 6-7(2) 7-5 6-1. Pegula, who came off another three-set classic with Emma Navarro 6-4 1-6 6-3 on Thursday, produced 108 points in the match, 62 of which came from her first serves and 40 on returns. The American also captured 5 breakpoint conversions, including 2 service breaks in the pivotal third set.
