Two members of the top 10 in the women’s flyweight division will meet on the main card of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night. Jasmine Jasudavicius (14-4-0) and Karine Silva (19-6-0) are both looking to get right after taking a loss in their previous fights.
Jasmine had been on a 5-fight winning streak before it was snapped against Manon Fiorot. The fight lasted just over a minute before Fiorot was able to finish Jasmine by KO/TKO. It marked the 1st time that Jasmine had finished in her 18-fight career. It is never easy to judge how a fighter will do in their next fight after being finished for the 1st time in their career. Sometimes there is hesitation and an uneasiness that they need to work out in the next fight.
Silva had been on a submission tear leading into and during the early portion of her UFC career. She had submitted 7 straight fighters from 2019 to 2023.
