Jakub Mensik of the Czech Republic kicked off his European indoor season campaign against 18-year-old Henry Bernet of Switzerland in the first round of the 2025 Swiss Basel Indoors.
Mensik is the heavy favorite at -600, but the Czech offers so much value on the spread line where you can win as high as $430 payout on a $100 bet if he wins by at least seven games against the world No. 481.

Mensik is scheduled to begin his European indoor season against an up-and-coming player from Switzerland. The prodigious Czech reached the quarterfinals of the 2025 China Open after picking up wins over Miomir Kecmanovic 7-5, 6-4 and Arthur Casaux 6-3, 2-6, 6-4. Mensik played former top-10 Alex De Minaur in the quarterfinal round, but he retired from the match while trailing 1-4 in the first set after experiencing sharp pain in his knee.
Ranked outside the ATP 400, Bernet gets an opportunity to test his mettle against Mensik on Monday. The 18-year-old Bernet has compiled a 20-12 record this year, with a 2-4 record in indoor play. However, the young Swiss will be playing only his fifth match on the ATP main tour this year, as he spent most of the year honing his skills in the low-tier Challenger and ITF level.
