The 8-1 Detroit Lions can strengthen their grip on the NFC number one seed spot if they can overcome the 2-7 Jacksonville Jaguars at Ford Field on Sunday. Detroit were far from their best in Monday night's victory over the Texans, but they showed remarkable fortitude to overcome a 16 point half time deficit to win the game in the final second. They should find things much easier against a Jags side yet to win on the road last season. Jacksonville did almost pull off a big upset against the Vikings in Week Ten, but two backbreaking fourth quarter interceptions from QB Mac Jones cost them the chance of victory.
