On the fifth day of Group F qualifying for the 2026 World Cup in Europe, Ireland will take on Portugal this Thursday at Aviva Stadium in Dublin. The home team has its back against the wall in this group, having won only one of its first four matches. The Irish team is in third place in the standings, one point behind Hungary (second).
