A new Serie A season kicks off on Saturday, and we get underway with the champions, who'll welcome Monza to the world-famous Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Can Christian Chivu's men pick up where they left off and begin the new campaign with a win? Well, on paper, this certainly looks like a winnable fixture for the hosts, who really will be disappointed if they fail to get the job done against a newly promoted team. For the visitors, this is something of a free hit. Nobody expects them to go to Milan and return with all three points, and that should remove the pressure and, at the very least, allow the newbies to play with freedom.
Based on the early lines, one bet that appeals above all else is 'Both Teams to Score', which appears to be a more likely outcome than early odds of +130 may suggest.
