One of the best games forecasted for this weekend will take place during the later portion of Sunday when the Los Angeles Chargers (4-2) host the Indianapolis Colts (5-1). Daniel Jones has found a home in Indy after coming from the Giants where he never looked comfortable. Now, he is playing like an early MVP candidate and leading this Colts offense that leads the NFL in scoring with 32.3 points per game. Not to be outdone, the defense is holding its own as well and holding opponents to just 19.3 points per game which is 4th best in the NFL. The offense is going to be truly tested this weekend when they face a Charger defense that is 12th in the NFL and allowing just 20.8 points per game. Both teams are getting it done through the air and are currently ranked #6 and #7 in passing offense. Not many would have thought a Daniel Jones versus Justin Herbert matchup would be one that many would have been excited to see coming off last season, but here we are. Will the Chargers be able to slow down this high-powered Colts offense, or will the Colts defense stifle Herbert and company enough to allow the offense to take a week off?
