The Pacers, with one day off, and the Pistons, with two, will face each other on Thursday at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Both teams have very similar records and a good run in the last 10 games, especially the Pistons, who were able to win 8 of the last 10. This will be the third time this season that these teams meet. Until now they have split victories and the visiting team always won. The last of them was a 130-106 victory in Indianapolis where the Pistons won in a game where Cunningham, Beasley and Ivey added more than 20 points.
The Pistons won and will look for their third victory in a row against the Pacers, and they are coming off one of the best victories of the season where they beat the Knicks at Madison Square Garden 124-119. The Pistons had been underdogs by 7.5 points at the betting sites and, once again, Cade Cunningham, in another display of talent, led his team by scoring 36 points. Cade played in all of the Pistons' games in 2025, and on January 11 against the Raptors he had a great game where he achieved a triple double with 17 assists against the Raptors.
