A titanic clash is about to erupt at Bad Homburg on Friday as former world's No.1 Iga Swiatek of Poland faces last year’s Wimbledon Open runner-up Jasmine Paolini in the semifinal of this WTA 500 event.
Swiatek claimed her second grass court win this year with a hard-earned 6-4 7-6(5) win over Ekaterina Alexandrova of Russia. Paolini finished the game with 28 first-serve points and 4 breakpoint conversions.
