France will look to add more fire to their 2025 EuroBasket campaign when they take on Iceland on Wednesday afternoon. The 2013 champions came into this event without three of their superstars, including Wembanyama, Rudy, and Evan. They ultimately paid the price for their absence when they suffered a 23-point loss against Israel on Sunday. The French will now seek an immediate response against Group D leaders Poland before facing Iceland.
Iceland, meanwhile, has been uninspiring at this competition. They sit at the bottom of the standings with three points from as many games. The Icelanders will shoot to win against Slovenia on Tuesday evening and revive their group campaign before taking on France. However, their struggles are unsurprising, having lost four of their last five games ahead of the 2025 EuroBasket. The odds are really against them making the knockout rounds.
