Two teams that failed to get the job done last time out will clash at Shell Energy Stadium on Friday evening, when the Houston Dynamo will take on the Los Angeles Galaxy in front of a home crowd. It's not exactly been a vintage 2025 for Friday's hosts, who're currently outside of the all-important play-off places, though fortunately, they're not a long way behind, with just two points separating them at the top nine. In other words, there's plenty of time for them to turn it around and make the postseason. Ben Olsen's men may not be feeling too confident ahead of this game, though, as they've won none of their last three, two of which they've lost.
Also struggling are the Galaxy boys, who despite winning MLS Cup in 2024, have found it very tough to get going in 2025. Saturday's visitors are in an even worse position and thus really need to put together a run of wins. Fortunately, Greg Vanney's men have started to improve of late, losing only one of their last five, but they are now without a win in two. Can they bounce back in Houston?
