The Astros won the first two games of the series by the same score of 5-3 and are on track to clinch a playoff berth in another season. Even the team that won the Astros-Angels series couldn't sweep, but once again the Astros will be favorites at Angel Stadium when Blanco pitches.

The Astros are hoping that Tucker can find his best form, as he has been a key piece for the Astros in previous postseasons. Perhaps he can do so starting with the HR he hit as a pinch hitter in the last game of Saturday, which is just his first extra base hit in 25 plate appearances since returning from his injury. Regarding this, Tucker said "That was probably the best swing I've taken since I've been back."
