Haiti and Costa Rica will meet on Thursday night in the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers at Ergilio Hato Stadium. Haiti will look to return to winning ways after suffering a 3-0 defeat on the road against Honduras last month. Days earlier, Haiti had shown signs of promise in Group I after recovering from their two-game winless run to defeat Nicaragua 3-0 on the road. They are third in the standings with five points, three points behind the table-topping Honduras.

Costa Rica, on the other hand, is still undefeated in Group C. However, they’ve won just once in the race to secure a 2026 World Cup qualification spot. They started the campaign with three straight draws, including a dull 0-0 tie against Honduras. However, Miguel Herrera recorded their first win in the group last month after defeating Nicaragua 4-1 at home. Securing another win this week could significantly alter the group's outlook.
