Players from both teams will be thinking about the playoffs when the Green Bay Packers take on the Seahawks in Seattle on Sunday Night Football. Kickoff is at 8:20 p.m. ET, and the game will be broadcast on NBC (streaming on Peacock).
Neither team will lock down a spot with a win. But Seattle needs a win to stay ahead of a Rams team that improved to 8-6 with a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football this week. Green Bay is in a more secure position at 9-4, but a loss vs. Seattle and vs. the Vikings in a couple of weeks could leave them fighting for the No. 7 seed with several teams. If the Packers want to remain in control of their playoff fate, they need to win. Should winds reach as high as some are projecting (40+ mph), both teams will try to feature the run game. While Seattle just had Zach Charbonnet go for 100+ yards last week, a rested Josh Jacobs gives the Packers an advantage.
Kenneth Walker did not practice Thursday, which keeps him on track not to start, leaving Charbonnet to carry the load once again for the Seahawks.

Opposing running backs are running for 121 yards per game against the Seahawks in Seattle. Green Bay has been giving up 115 yards on the road. Since the defenses are similar, it will come down to the running back. Green Bay has the better one in Josh Jacobs—advantage Packers. I’d lean towards taking the Packers and laying, but with the potential weather conditions, take the UNDER.
