The NBA Summer League is taking place in Las Vegas, where young basketball players dream of showcasing their talent and earning a contract. On this stage, the young players of the reigning champion Knicks will face off against those of the Warriors.
The Knicks' young roster started this Summer League with a 1-2 record. The New Yorkers defeated the Pistons 86-75, the team's first loss since June 13th, when they secured one of the most epic victories in history. They beat the Spurs 94-90 and won the championship rings after a long wait.
The Knicks will have almost the same roster, and sportsbooks have them ranked third as favorites to win again next year. Therefore, the franchise is looking to finalize its roster with players currently competing in the Summer League; names like the young Tyler Nickel stand out for his three-point shooting ability.
