Game 5 in the series between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves will take place on Wednesday in Minnesota. Let’s take a look at the match statistics and predictions to see in the Timberwolves can close out the series, or if the Golden State can extend the series for the chance to have Stephen Curry return.
Minnesota enters game having completely taken control of this series. After losing Game 1 at home, the Timberwolves have won Games 2, 3, and 4 by an average margin of 12 points per game. In Game 4, the Timberwolves had a total of five players score in double figures, most notably, Anthony Edwards, who scored 30 points, and Julius Randle, who scored a game-high 31 points.
As for Golden State, they simply look to be defeated in this series without the presence of Stephen Curry. In Game 4, the Warriors had five players score in double figures, but other than Jonathan Kuminga, who scored 23 points off the bench, none of their starters scored more than 14 points.

Minnesota is back to being a double-digit favorite in Game 5, mainly because they are playing at home and Stephen Curry is still sidelined. Because of this, we are going to be targeting a player prop, that being Julius Randle to go over his point total of 21.5
Randle has been one of Minnesota’s best players in not only the playoffs, but specifically this series against the Warriors. Overall, he is averaging 23.3 points in the playoffs and 24.3 points in four games against Golden State. Randle has scored 22 points or more in seven of the Timberwolves’ nine playoff games, including three of the four games in this series.
