As we wave goodbye to what was an excellent clay-court season, which culminated in two fantastic French Open finals, we get the ball rolling on grass. This week, many ATP players are in the German city of Stuttgart, where they'll be competing in the Stuttgart Open, which is an ATP 250 event.
On Thursday, there's an interesting match between Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and Felix Auger-Aliassime. Right now, these two are quite closely matches according to the ATP Rankings, with the Frenchman standing at 36, seven places below world number 29 Auger-Aliassime. Mpetshi Perricard enjoyed himself plenty on grass last season, reaching the final 16 at Wimbledon. In contrast, it was a first-round defeat for the Canadian at Wimbledon last season, while he didn't exactly create the best all-round impression on this surface either.
