The Kentucky Wildcats will have the unenviable job of hosting the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday night (7:30 pm ET) at Kroger Field in Lexington, KY. Betting odds for the game have Georgia listed as a massive favorite to beat Kentucky again at 24 points. The last time the Wildcats came out on top of a game vs. Georgia was in Athens during the 2009 season, 34-27. You have to go back a few more years for the last Wildcats win at home (2006, 24-20).
Heading into Saturday's game, the Bulldogs look ready to win an unprecedented third national championship in a row. They've gone 2-0 and own a 29-game winning streak. Expectations are a little lower for a Kentucky team rebuilding/reloading after losing its starting quarterback and a few other players to the NFL. They are 1-1 this season, with their first loss coming last weekend against South Carolina 31-6. Georgia's defense is stout once again. Carson Beck is having a solid season. The passing game is getting the job done, and the run game is as dangerous as ever. It's going to be a long day for the Wildcats.
When these two last played in the Bluegrass State, the game ended up being somewhat competitive, but the Bulldogs went home winner as they defeated the Wildcats 16-6.

Our Kentucky Wildcats vs Georgia Bulldogs Prediction
There is no value in betting Georgia to win outright with a moneyline around -3600. The Bulldogs will win this game outright, but do you really want to bet $3600 just to win $100? Upsets happen…But one will not happen here which leaves this question: will the Bulldogs cover a 24-point spread? The answer to that depends on one thing—Kentucky's defense. According to the stat sheet, the Wildcats defense could cause Georgia some trouble. However, those stats were generated against a soft opponent and in a loss. Georgia's defense, however, is as good as the stat sheet indicates and could easily pitch a shutdown.
Our Prediction for Kentucky vs. Georgia: Georgia -24
