On Thursday, another UEFA Europa League game that I'm interested in from a betting point of view is Genk vs Ferencvaros, which is due to take place at Cegeka Arena in the Belgian city of Genk. It was a pleasing first game in the UEL for Genk, who defeated Scottish oufit Rangers in Glasgow a week ago, not only winning but keeping a clean sheet in the process. That victory was all the more sweet given that former Celtic forward Oh Hyeon-Gyu scored.
The Hungarians were not able to get off the mark at the first time of asking in this competition, but they didn't go down either, tying 1-1 at home to Czech side Plzen. The performance wasn't a displeasing one, especially as they had a player sent off in the first half, so we shouldn't be too surprised if they cause the hosts a few problems here. They'll definitely do that if they can get the deadly Barnabas Varga into promising positions.
