Gable Steveson (4-0-0) will look to pick up his second UFC victory when he faces Sean Sharaf (4-2-0) in the Heavyweight division on Saturday night at the Crypto.com Arena. Steveson joined the franchise in July this year, defeating Elisha Ellison at UFC 329 via a Round 1 win. Impressively, the 26-year-old has only participated in four professional MMA fights, winning all of them via KO/TKO in Round 1. Most bookies are no longer accepting moneyline bets for the American.
Like Steveson, Sean Sharaf is also a relatively new name in the Heavyweight clash, having participated in only two UFC fights. This fight doesn’t give us too many betting choices, does it? Steveson is the clear favorite, as he looks to deliver another nasty Round 1 finish. He displayed his Olympic-level wrestling skills against Ellison to dominate the bout before producing a deadly Round 1 punch. Even more impressive is the fact that the youngster had a 71% striking accuracy. This means that Sharaf cannot afford to plant his feet on the ground this weekend. Sharaf is also a deadly puncher who entered the UFC with four straight Round 1 finishes. He can easily finish opponents who want to stand and exchange punches. Still, we don’t think the 33-year-old can handle the early pressure from Steveson this weekend.
