The Magpies and Cottagers meet in London to put the finishing touches on their 2025/2026 Premier League campaign. The two teams arrive at matchday 38 in a game of little consequence. Fulham are safe from relegation and are only aiming to finish in the top 10. Newcastle has the same objective and at best could aspire to a ninth-place finish in the Premier League.

However, both teams want to end the season on a positive note, especially Fulham, as their manager Marco Silva is about to have his contract expire and it's uncertain what will happen with the Portuguese strategist next season. Silva has a healthy squad, with many players available for the final matchday. It's highly likely we'll see Harry Wilson, the midfielder who, despite a couple of lackluster performances in the final stretch, leads Fulham in both categories with 10 goals and 6 assists.

The Magpies' inability to pick up points away from home is the main reason Newcastle hasn't performed as well in the Premier League this season as in previous years; in fact, they've only won two away matches so far this year.
