The action at the Paris Masters continues on Wednesday, when several more matches will take place. One of three second-round encounters that I'm interested in on Wednesday is the match between Francisco Cerundolo and Miomir Kecmanovic. The Argentine, who is easily ranked above his opponent, looked in promising shape during the first round, beating a lower-ranked player in straight sets. Can he do the same here?
For the Serbian player, the first round went well, but his victory was nowhere near as simplistic as Cerundolo's, which tells me that he could no struggle. Kecmanovic doesn't have a great recent record in matches of this nature, while he has recently lost to less accomplished players, so don't be too surprised if the world number 53 finds this task too hot to handle.

The Argentine has a positive recent record in matches of this nature, perhaps a little more than odds of +125 would have us believe.
Kecmanovic needed to expend lots of energy to get beyond Kovacevic in the first round, while this match demands much more from the Serbian, who could quite simply have not enough in the tank to deal with the challenge of facing an in-form Francisco Cerundolo.
