The No. 12 Duke Blue Devils (20-7, 15-1 ACC) will end the home part of their regular season tonight against the Florida State Seminoles at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, NC. Fans can follow the action on the ACC Network once the game gets underway at 8 p.m. EST.
The season has gone in opposite directions for the Blue Devils and Seminoles. After starting the season with a loss to Baylor and then dropping four in a row during the nonconference part of their schedule (to USF, No. 2 South Carolina, No. 3 UCLA, and No. 5 LSU). But they righted the ship after the loss to LSU and went on a run, winning 17 in a row before falling to Clemson last Sunday, 53-51. As for Florida State, the Seminoles started the season 3-1 (loss vs. UConn), but the illusion of possibly being good ended there. They lost five of their next six before playing their first conference opponent, and didn’t win a conference game until Jan. 15 (@ Pitt, 69-65). Florida State will head into this game on a three-game losing streak after losing to Stanford in their last game, 77-61, in their final home game of the season. They’ll wrap up the regular season against Wake Forest on Sunday.
