A tight contest looks in store on Monday night, as the Florida Panthers head to the Ball Arena to take on the Colorado Avalanches. Both sides have recorded 24 wins so far this season and both are in pole position to make the postseason. The Panthers have just played five consecutive home games, winning two and losing three, but their road record this season is among the very best in the NHL. They have won their last three road games and have an overall record of 12-6-1 in games away from the Amerant Arena. Meanwhile, the Avalanche come into the game off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Montreal, but prior to that they had put together an impressive six game winning run and are currently in fourth place in the Western Conference Central Division.
