One of two Italian Serie A fixtures due to be played on Thursday, during the late afternoon for US watchers, takes place in the city of Florence, where Fiorentina and Atalanta will lock horns for the first time this season. Both teams are hoping to do better than in recent weeks, with La Viola losing each of their last three, while the men who play their soccer in Bergamo are without a win in three games (in all competitions).
