A new matchday in Group G of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers takes place this Tuesday at 2:45 PM ET at Helsinki Olympic Stadium, with Finland hosting Poland. In these qualifiers, Finland had a strong start by beating Malta (0-1). Since then, things have been tougher for the team coached by Jacob Friis. Surprisingly, they were held to a draw by Lithuania despite leading by two goals (2-2). To make matters worse, they recently lost to the Netherlands, the group favorite (0-2). Finland’s next match won’t be any easier.
