FC Dallas got the season underway last weekend with a home game in Frisco against Toronto FC. Petar Musa opened the scoring with a goal for Dallas nine minutes in, but Djordje Mihailovic didn’t waste time answering Dallas with a goal for Toronto in the 15th minute. Logan Farrington put FC Dallas back on top in the 38th, but Dániel Sallói tied it up for Toronto FC in the 67th. Musa secured the win for FC Dallas with the final goal of the game in the 79th minute.
As for Nashville SC, they got their season underway last weekend against the New England Revolution. Sam Surridge got the scoring started with a goal just six minutes into the game and extended the lead in the 16th minute for his second goal. New England finally got on the board with a goal in the 47th minute to make the score 3-1, Nashville SC. Warren Madrigal added the fourth and final goal of the game for Nashville SC a couple of minutes later (49’). Brian Schwake made his MLS debut for Nashville SC in goal but did not record a save.
