After each Liga MX team played a match, no one could have predicted that Juárez would top the Liga MX standings in the Leagues Cup. However, "Los Potros" had a tremendous first half, with Brazilian Madson scoring two goals and Mosquera scoring one just before halftime to take a 3-1 lead into the break. As the match drew to a close, Colombian striker Estupiñán made the final score 4-1. Juárez won, earning betting sites odds of around +280.
