The WTA action at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers, situated in Montreal, continues on Tuesday, and it's time for the quarter finals. One of the final-eight match-ups sees Elina Svitolina take on Naomi Osaka. As a previous winner of this tournament, the Ukrainian would've been hoping for a good run, and she's so far delivered the goods, winning her first three matches in straight sets, beating recent Wimbledon finalist Amanda Anisimova in straight sets. A highly capable hard-court player, the world number 13 will surely fancy herself to pick up another win.
Osaka has also played well in Montreal, beating some decent players such as Jelena Ostapenko, though it must be said that she's had an easier run than her opponent, and this is now very much her toughest match of the tournament so far.
