As they bid to top Group G once and for all, the Egyptians will take on the Iranians on Friday, knowing that just a point could see them advance in first place. A win and the Pharaohs will definitely go through as group winners.
Following an impressive tie against the Belgians, the Egyptians worked hard to defeat New Zealand during the second round of group games. The Iranians tied for the second game in a row, but they will certainly be buoyed by their clean sheet against the Red Devils and should fancy themselves to disrupt the Pharoah’s flow.
We saw both of these teams create and concede against New Zealand, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they both grabbed at least one goal in Seattle. ‘Both Teams to Score’ rates as a solid bet at odds of +115.

While the Egyptians got the better of New Zealand, the Iranians could only tie against the All Whites, delivering a slightly less impressive performance, though they weren't outplayed in that game, while they definitely got competitive against Belgium, so much so that they were unfortunate not to score. Off the back of that effort, they can definitely play a part in this fixture, even if the early betting had them priced as the outsiders.
