Those who thought the Pistons-Magic series would be a walk in the park for the former conference leaders, Detroit, were wrong. The Magic lead this series 3-2. They return to that city, to the KIA Center, where sportsbooks expect a relatively close game for Game 6.
Although the Pistons play a very physical style of basketball and are fairly well-rounded, they depend somewhat on their superstar Cade Cunningham to carry the team. And carry him in Game 6 he did, despite being sidelined just a few weeks prior with a collapsed lung. Cunningham set a franchise playoff record with 45 points on Wednesday. He spoke about how the team itself got into a hole from which, however, he sees it as possible to get out.
As for the Magic, they will be out on Friday due to a right calf strain. Jamahl Mosley, however, will have Banchero available, who incredibly responded to Cunningham on Wednesday with 45 points of his own. It was a few missed free throws that prevented him from breaking the playoff record for points in a single game by a Magic player.

Magic coach Jamahl Mosley used a baseball metaphor, saying that to close out the series he doesn't want his team to hit a home run on every play, but rather several singles.
