In their last 2 losses, the Niners have allowed an average of 154 yards per game on the ground. That will be an issue again Monday Night where they face the top team in the NFC. The Detroit Lions are without David Montgomery but have Jahmyr Gibbs, who many believe is the better running back going full tilt. The Lions have averaged over 150 yards per game on the ground over their last 3 wins. In their latest loss to the Bills, they were held under 100 yards on the ground. They will be focused on getting Gibbs going early which will open things up for their passing game that has been steady all season. On the year, the Lions are passing for an average of 260+ yards per game, which is good for 2nd overall in the league. A win here will keep the Lions hopes alive for the #1 seed in the NFC.
