After losing their first preseason game to the New York Jets 10-30, the Packers rebounded with strong wins over the Indianapolis Colts 23-19 and the Seattle Seahawks 20-7 to finish their preseason schedule with a 2-1 record. It looks like this year’s Packers will still be a formidable defensive team. Boasting the 6th fewest points allowed in the NFL last season (19.9 points), the Packers hounded the Seahawks to just seven points in their final preseason games. The Lions finished the preseason with a 1-2 record after losing their last two exhibition matches against the Miami Dolphins 17-24 and the Houston Texans 7-26. Their only win came in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons 17-10. Quarterback Jared Goff looks to put the Lions in a position to win lots of games and perhaps contend for a Super Bowl title after they got upset by the Washington Commanders in the divisional playoffs last year.
