The Lions took care of the Rams in game one 26-20 but ran into the hot out of the gate Tampa Bay Buccaneers in game two. While the Lions were able to take a 16-13 lead with just 3:30 left in the game, they were unable to stop Baker Mayfield from driving the Bucs down the field and then scrambling for an 11-yard touchdown run which ultimately led to the final score of 20-16. They had held Tampa to just 2-10 on 3rd down and 216 total yards while going for over 460 total yards themselves. The did lose the turnover battle 2-1 and failed to convert on 2 of 5 fourth down attempts which caused the Lions to be stunted on a large amount of their drives. For Arizona, the bounced back from a 34-28 loss to the Bills in week one by decimating the Rams 41-10 in their last game. Marvin Harrison Jr made a splash in the 1st quarter by going for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. James Conner racked up 122 yards and scored while Kyler Murray finished with 266 yards while completing 81% of his passes. The defense held the Rams to just 53 rushing yards and under 200 yards passing.
