New Orleans Pelicans are looking to get their first win of the season as they welcome Denver Nuggets to the Smoothie King Center. The Pelicans have lost all three of their NBA games this season, including a 141-135 defeat to Nuggets last time out. It's been a very poor start to the campaign for New Orleans and they remain one of only two Western Conference sides yet to taste victory this season.
The Nuggets haven't been much better, their only win so far coming in that match being the win against the Pelicans. That victory is sandwiched between two losses, the first coming against Oklahoma City Thunder and then a defeat to Golden State Warriors last time out. Denver are, though, huge favorites to repeat the success of last week and beat the Pelicans for the second time this month.
For our prediction, we're looking at the spread. We think the Nuggets will win this one and win it reasonably comfortably. We'll give a hypothetical head start to the Pelicans, and think Denver will win this one by five points or more.
