Dayama Yastremska of Ukraine will battle Magda Linette of Poland in the semifinal of the 2025 Nottingham Open on Saturday.
Yastremska barged into the final four of the grass-court tournament after vanquishing Leylah Fernandez of Canada 6-3 7-6(6) in the quarterfinal. The Ukrainian conceded only one break points the entire match while winning 37 points on the first serves and 20 on the second. Yastremska also managed to convert the two break-point chances to put Fernandez away for good.
Linette is a semifinalist at Nottingham following an emphatic win over Clara Tauson of Denmark 6-2 7-5. Linette utilized a variety of shots and tactics to keep her Dane opponent off-balance for the majority of the match. The Pole finished the match with 22 first-serve points and 6 breakpoint conversions, earning her third grass-court win of the season without dropping a set.
