Dan Ige (19-11-0) will make his UFC Bantamweight debut against David Martinez (14-1-0) on Saturday night at the Desert Diamond Arena in Arizona. Ige is a Hawaiian fighter who has been with the franchise since July 2017. The “100 Grand” spent a large part of his career at featherweight before deciding to move down to the 135-pound division. The 35-year-old will want to make a good first impression as the +275 betting underdog tonight.
David Martinez, meanwhile, is a 28-year-old Mexican fighter from the Bonebreakers MMA team. Martinez joined the UFC in October 2024 and has not tasted defeat in his four assignments. He has looked ready to take on the biggest names in the division after outplaying Marlon Vera and Rob Font in his last two fights. The Mexican will be keen to impress against another ageing fighter this weekend. He’s the -434 betting favorite.
