On Friday, there's an all German clash at the ATP event in Miami. Daniel Altmaier takes on Jan-Lennard Struff in this second-round match. As the higher ranked player, Struff is quite a strong favourite in the early betting, but he certainly doesn't arrive in fine form, which makes his younger compatriot looking appealingly priced to my eyes.

Despite being favourite for this clash, I can't side with Struff here. The 33-year-old has has some tough matches of late and he can certainly be forgiven for coming up short against world number three Jannik Sinner last time out, but he hasn't only lost to the top players on a hard surface of late, losing to O'Connell and Ruusuvuori, both of whom are ranked comfortably below him. Moreover, Altmaier is a player who is no stranger to upsetting players above him in the rankings on a hard surface. Back in February, he got the better of fellow German and world number five Zverev, while since the turn of the year, he's also beaten the likes of Auger-Aliassime, while he warmed up nicely for this with a convincing first round win. Against a player who hasn't since losing to sinner 12 days ago at the Indian Wells event, he looks a good bet to get the job done.
