The Dallas Wings (3-11) will try to put an end to their 9-game losing streak as they take on Washington Mystics (2-13), who just recorded their first two wins of the season just these past few days. The Wings have played out the last three weeks without winning a single basketball game. Dallas had their last win on May 26 when Arika Ogunbowale (20 points) and Monique Billings (18 points and 12 boards) teamed up to help the Wings pull off a close win over the Los Angeles Sparks, 84-83. At that time, the Wings had a winning record of 3-2. Fast-forward to the present and Dallas finds itself at the bottom of the Western Conference standings with a 3-11 record. The Mystics have just registered their first two wins of the season in back-to-back fashion. Their victories against the Atlanta Dream snapped a 12-game losing skid since opening night. They followed it up with a gutsy 83-81 win over the Chicago Sky in their next game. Although Washington has suffered another loss to the Indiana Fever 88-81, their recent victories should give them some motivation to improve their current 2-13 slate.
