The Vegas Golden Knights (25-14-13, 12-7-6 Home) will try to turn their luck around Wednesday night when they return home to host the Dallas Stars (30-14-9, 16-7-6 Away). Fans can follow the action once the puck drops at the T-Mobile Arena at 10 p.m. EST, with coverage provided by ESPN+.
Vegas leads the Pacific Division with 63 points, but needs to get back to its winning ways if it is to keep the Edmonton Oilers (62 points) from overtaking it. The Golden Knights have lost four of their last five games and dropped their last one on Tuesday to the Canadiens 3-2 in overtime (had won seven in a row prior to the previously mentioned five-game stretch). As for Dallas, the Stars ended 2025 on a bad note that carried over into 2026, with six consecutive losses (December 23 to January 6). The struggles continued for an additional couple of weeks as they lost four of the next six. However, they may be breaking out of their funk finally with wins in three of their last four games. They last played on Tuesday when they faced off against the Blues for the second consecutive game, but in St. Louis this time, and won 4-3.
