After winning the 1st 2 games on the road in Dallas, the Knights have suffered 3 straight defeats and find themselves in a win or go home situation here in Game 6. They will be at home where they have yet to a win a game this series. In both of their wins, the Knights scored 4 and 3 goals respectively. However, in their 3 losses, they have yet to score more than 2 goals. Dallas goaltender, Jake Oettinger has been spectacular over the last 3 games. He has allowed just 6 goals on 95 shots face for a .936 save percentage. Offensively, it has been Wyatt Johnston and Jason Robertson that have led the way for the Stars. Johnston has score 3 goals and picked up 2 assists in their last 3 games, while Robertson has pitched in with a goal and 2 assists. The Knights’s Logan Thompson, who was in net for both wins and the 1st two losses, has been saddled on the bench and will stay there for Game 6. Adin Hill will get his 2nd start of the series after saving just 22 of 25 shots faced in Game 5. All in all, it is going to come down to the offense of the Knights. If they can put 3 or more past Oettinger, they should have a good shot at forcing Game 7.

The fact that coach Bruce Cassidy has decided to go with Hill again here is extremely curious to us. Sure, Thompson did not look tremendous in Games 3 and 4, but he also faced 77 combined shots in those 2 games. Compare that to the 52 he faced in Games 1 and 2 where he won, you would think that the defense in front of him played a large role in the outcomes. Enter Adin Hill, who faced just 25 shots in his Game 5 start and allowed 3 in the loss and we think giving him another go is the wrong move. Dallas closes this one out on the road and continues to roll into Round 2.
