The New York Giants end the season with the Dallas Cowboys, looking to end a lot of misery against their Texas rival. The Cowboys are 16-1 against the Giants since 2016, which was the only time the Giants have swept the season series in the past 15 years.
New York doesn’t have to worry about a draft pick now, as the Giants ruined their chances for the No. 1 pick by routing the Raiders last week. So they’re only looking to put an end to their skid against Dallas, which is major motivation on its own. The Cowboys don’t really have the same motivation, as they only have the carrot of finishing with a .500 record at 8-8-1. If Dallas can’t match New York’s motivation, the Giants might finally end the skid.

When the teams met in Dallas earlier this season, they combined for 77 points and a lot of yards on both sides. Jaxson Dart didn’t play in that game, but given how Wilson mostly struggled this year and Dart has showed positive progression, he’s likely to find similar success against the Dallas defense.
The over would seem a reasonable bet, but with sustained winds of 15 miles per hour in New Jersey, there are too many variables that can go the wrong way and keep the score on the low side. Instead, it makes more sense to back the motivated home team. The Giants would get much more from finally ending the Cowboys’ dominance against them than Dallas would from getting an eighth win. Our prediction for Dallas vs. New York is Giants +3.
