The Broncos will try to keep the good times rolling on Sunday when they host the Dallas Cowboys at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver, CO. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:@5 p.m. EST and the game will be broadcast on CBS.
Denver was staring down its third loss of the season last week, down 19-0 to the Giants. But after a miraculous fourth-quarter comeback that saw them score 33 points, they extended their win streak to four games with a 33-32 victory vs. the Giants. Dallas had a much easier time its last time out, taking down the Washington Commanders in dominant fashion, 44-22. But easy is the last way to describe the Dallas season. Dak Prescott and the offense have been explosive, and currently lead the NFL in total offense (390.6 yards per game). But they are second in scoring with 31.7 points per game. But things have gone completely different on the other side of the ball. The defense is giving up a league-worst 401.6 yards per game. It is 32nd against the pass, 30th against the run, and 30th in scoring.

This is a tough one to call, a battle of strengths. On one hand, there’s Dallas and one of the best offenses in the league. In the other, it’s Denver and one of the best defenses in the league. Whose strength is better? A better question may be whose weakness is weaker. The Denver offense is capable but wildly inconsistent. But that could change when playing one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Then again, the Dallas defense didn’t look too bad against Washington. There are too many question marks about both teams to recommend a winner. However, I think the Denver defense will slow Dallas down. But the Broncos offense will not go off against the Cowboys. It will be close, but I’m picking the UNDER.
