The Colorado Rockies will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard today when they face the Giants in San Francisco at Oracle Park in Game Three of a four-game series. Fans can follow the action once the game gets underway at 4:05 p.m. EST.
For a couple of days earlier in the week, the Rockies were not one of the worst teams in baseball as they recorded a 2-1 win over the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday and followed that with a 4-3 victory against the San Francisco Giants on Thursday. But the good times were not meant to last as Robbie Ray pitched seven innings of two-hit, shutout ball to lead the Giants to a 4-0 win yesterday. Colorado is scheduled to start Bradley Blalock on the mound today. Blalock has a 10.29 ERA in seven innings of work across three appearances. His longest outing was his last, vs. Cincinnati earlier in the week (four innings, seven hits, six earned runs). San Francisco is scheduled to go with Jordan Hicks. He is not off to a great start this season either, with a 1-3 record across six outings with a 6.12 ERA.
